Camusaluinn is available to let right throughout the year and the procedure
for placing a booking is as follows:-
|
- Please
check the availability
of the dates you require before
contacting us. All bookings are taken on a
Saturday to Saturday basis
only except at the Christmas
and New Year period when the bank holiday dates fall at or very
close to a weekend. We regret that we are
otherwise unable to vary this rule as we would run the risk of the
property standing empty for part weeks.
- If your preferred dates are available, we will send
you a Booking Form by post for completion and return.
- The Booking Form will be accompanied by a covering letter
confirming the dates you have reserved.
- A 20% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking
and a cheque or crossed postal order for this amount should please accompany your
completed Booking Form.
- Upon receipt of the completed Booking Form and
payment of the deposit, we will send you a letter confirming the
details of your booking, together with directions to the cottage
and instructions for collecting the keys when you arrive.
- The remaining balance of the payment for your
holiday falls due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.
- Payment in full is required at the time of booking
if there are less than 6 weeks remaining until the start of your
holiday.
- In the event of cancellation, payments (other than the deposit) will be
refunded only if we are successful in re-letting the week(s)
you have booked.
- It is therefore wise to effect appropriate holiday
cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
- Please note that cancellation insurance is
not included with your
holiday. As a small business, we are not permitted by current UK
financial services' regulations to offer this
cover but it should be readily available from your insurance
company or insurance broker.
- If you do have to cancel your holiday after the
full balance has been paid, you are advised to inform us as soon
as possible in writing to
maximise our chances of re-letting (and therefore of being able
to make at least a partial refund to you).
- If you decide to change your holiday dates once
your booking has been placed and confirmed, we reserve the right
to make a charge not exceeding £20 to cover the additional
administration costs involved.
-
We regret that we are unable
to accept payments by credit or debit card.
-
Payments from outside
the UK will be accepted provided that they are made in GB pounds
sterling. We are happy to take payment via International Bank
Transfer on the strict understanding that you please accept full
responsibility for all the bank charges.
-
One well behaved dog is
permitted in the cottage. As with many parts of the Highlands
and Islands, this is a crofting area where sheep are raised and
allowed to graze, often on unfenced land. It is therefore
important that your dog should be kept under appropriate control
at all times.
